Two Males Charged After a Man is Stabbed and Beaten on the South Side

LETHBRIDGE: Two men have been charged following a vicious attack in our city early Wednesday morning.

Just before 5-AM Regional Police were called to a residence along 7th Avenue South, where they found a man who had been badly beaten and stabbed and saw two men leaving the area carrying a bloody shirt.

An investigation found that an argument between the victim and one of the accused escalated to a stabbing, and when the victim tried to pursue his attacker a second male hit him multiple times with a metal pipe. The first attacker then returned and also hit the victim with the metal pipe.

The victim is currently in hospital in stable condition.

Justice Steele and Coben Steele face charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.
