School Bus Hits Cyclist In West Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE - UPDATE - Sun glare is believed to be a contributing factor in a collision on Tuesday morning between a cyclist and school bus.

The incident happened just after 7:30am along Whoop-Up Drive West in the 2800 block.

The 53-year-old female cyclist was taken to hospital, where she remains, for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

There was one child on the Palliser school bus at the time of the collision. The 35-year-old bus driver and the child were not injured.

The police investigation is ongoing.
