Project Connect Returns For 10th Time

LETHBRIDGE - The 10th bi-annual "Project Connect" will once again try to help those in need by connecting them with services they require.

The event on November 2nd is for people who are experiencing the effects of living with a low income, as well they may be homeless or close to it.

Many resources will be available including housing referral, counseling, youth services, health care, government information, legal advice, addictions, income and employment support. As well, free haircuts, foot care services and income tax preparation services will be available.

Covenant Health will provide 400 bagged lunches for people to take away with them.

Donations are needed. Things like socks, toiletries and personal items can be dropped off at the Red Cross in west Lethbridge or Greystoke Home Health on the north side. They also need winter coats and clothing which can be dropped off at 1st Choice Savings.
