Two Women Charged with Assault at Children's Hockey Game Headed to Trial
LETHBRIDGE: Two women charged with assault in connection with an incident at a children's hockey game in the city, are going to trial next Spring.
February 10th at the Adams arena on the north side, an argument about obscene language turned physical. One woman punched another, pulled her hair and pushed her to the ground, where a second woman kicked her. A bystander who tried to intervene was struck in the face by a third woman.
Theda and Tania Lenni Day Chief, both of Standoff go to trial May 14th.
Tamara Margaret Day Chief, of Glenwood, will return to court on her own next month, with her lawyer stating that they are working on a possible resolution with the Crown.
