Local Man Riding Bike To Nobleford For Big Brothers Big Sisters

LETHBRIDGE - A local business owner is riding his bike to Nobleford and back on Saturday to raise money for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Lethbridge.

Peter Etches, who owns A.E. Cross Studio, is an avid bicyclist . Last year, he rode to Writing on Stone Provincial Park and raised over $3,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

He says he chose Big Brothers and Big Sisters this year because "I'm a great believer in families and I've got seven children myself and families are the basics of society. If you've got strong families, you've got a strong society and Big Brothers Big Sisters do mentoring programs to help families, to help children."

Etches is collecting donations at the A.E. Cross Studio on 3rd Avenue South until the end of the month.
