Lethbridge College Offering Free Tuition, Books And Residence To Two Students

LETHBRIDGE: Lethbridge College is launching a new campaign called "Extreme Career Makeover", which will help two Canadians change their lives.

The winners will get two years of tuition, books and residence at the college completely covered. It's aimed at individuals who are at least 18-years of age and who are looking to move from one career path into another.

Lethbridge College Communications Specialist Gwen Wirth went over what they'll expect of the students, "The two winners from 'Extreme Career Makeover' will be blogging throughout their two years and they'll be sharing their experience through video. We'll be following them along their journey, to see what sort of change this brings to their life and the positivity behind it."

Wirth also noted that there are no restrictions on the winners, "We'll see what they want to do and we'll make sure that's a good fit for them, and we'll go from there. I mean, we offer 50 plus programs here at Lethbridge College, so there's a lot of opportunities for these people."

The value to each student works out to roughly $30,000.

To apply you'll need to visit www.lethbridgecollege.ca, fill out an online form and write a short essay explaining why you're the best candidate. The application deadline is December 15th, with the new students starting class next September.
