Grade 9 Students Learn About A Career In Policing

LETHBRIDGE - A group of grade 9 students are learning about the Regional Police Service as part of Take Our Kids To Work Day.

The 15 students will have the opportunity to experience aspects of the job first hand. They will hear from the Chief of Police and get a tour of the police station. As well, take part in numerous activities and presentations by members of Recruiting, Victim Services, Traffic, K9, the Tactical Team and Explosive Disposal Unit.

The Take Our Kids To Work Day program allows grade 9 students from across Canada to experience a day in the workforce and plays an important role in career development.
