Lethbridge and District Kennel Club Dog Show Coming To City

Lethbridge: The annual Lethbridge and District Kennel Club Dog Show is coming up next weekend.

There will be obedience and rally trials, as well as scent-hurdle racing and different breeds will be judged.

"We've got, I think, around 200 dogs entered per day. Generally most of the dogs we see come from Alberta, Northern Montana, Nothern States, BC, some from Saskatchewan. Ocassionally we get dogs coming from as far away as Ontario and some of the farther states." said member, Andrea Knibbs.

There is a $5.00 admission fee for anyone over 12 years of age. Part of the proceeds from the event will go towards the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides, which provides service dogs for disabled people in Southern Alberta.

The event will take place in the north pavilion of Exhibition Park from November 15th to 17th running 9am to 4pm each day.
