Arrest Warrant Issued As Two City Residents Charged In West Side Crash and Dash

LETHBRIDGE:  Regional Police have charged two city residents in relation to a Westside incident on Tuesday afternoon, involving a motor vehicle colliding with numerous parked cars and a building.

An on-duty officer stopped a male and female in the parking lot of 15 MicMac Boulevard West to investigate a drug complaint. The male occupant of the motor vehicle started the engine while officers tried to stop him from leaving and accelerated backwards, ramming a police car parked behind him.
