LETHBRIDGE: A 50-year old city man will be in court on November 27th to answer charges
relating to the theft of copper wire.
The theft of several hundred feet of copper wire, which occurred over the past weekend from a business along the
3300 block of 3rd Avenue South, was reported to police on Tuesday (November
12th). An investigation identified and located a suspect at a recycling
business in possession of copper wire.
James Charles Olsen, is charged with shop-breaking, committing theft and
possession of stolen property. He was released from custody with a number of
conditions including a daily curfew and prohibitions from possessing any tools
capable of cutting copper wire or cable and attending any recycling business
which accepts copper wire or batteries.
