Christmas Tree Festival Lights Up College Barn

LETHBRIDGE - Over 30 decorated Christmas trees, wreaths and garlands will be up for auction on Wednesday evening for the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation's Christmas Tree Festival.

The event will once again take place at the Lethbridge College Barn. Groups were busy on Saturday decorating all the trees. All the proceeds will go towards funding state of the art health care equipment and special projects at the hospital. Executive Director Jason VandenHoek says last year they raised just over $110,000.

If you would like to get a look at the trees before the auction, there's public viewings from Noon to 8pm on Monday and Tuesday. The Gala and Auction starts at 6:30pm on Wednesday.
