Community Foundation Awards 28 Grants

 
 

LETHBRIDGE - The Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta handed out $135,440 in Community Impact Grants to 28 organizations last week.

 

This is the main granting program for the Foundation and supports a wide range of community projects. Funds come from their Community Impact Fund, which has been established through donations.

 

Charities apply for grants twice a year and the Foundation distributes funds to the charities best suited to meet the most pressing needs in southwestern Alberta.

 

Below is a list of the organizations and projects that recieved funding this fall.
