Trial Date Set In Child Prostitution Case

LETHBRIDGE: A Standoff man is headed to trial in connection with a child prostitution case.

In August of 2012 a 31-year old male offered a ride to a 13-year old girl that he met in the downtown core. The following day they drove to an undisclosed location where he allegedly sexually assaulted her.

Casey Lane Sweet-Grass goes to trial February 24th.

The case came to light as part of an investigation in February of this year, when Regional Police charged two other men with procuring a 13-year old girl for the purpose of prostitution and sexual assault.
