Annual Christmas Kettle Campaign Kicks Off Holiday Season
Lethbridge: The Salvation Army 2013 Christmas Kettle Campaign kicks off, November 30th.
The annual fundraisers collects donations to assist those in the surrounding area who need at helping hand during the Christmas season or throughout the year. This year's goal is $115, 000.
Kettles will be located in stores throughout Southern Alberta. Donations can also be made online at www.fillthekettle.com or through text message by texting HOPE2006 to 45678. Your phone bill will be charged with a $5.00 to the Salvation Army.
Volunteers are still needed at kettle locations. To arrange a kettle shift contact Captain Raelene Russell at 403-328-8611.
