Snow Removal Efforts Continue

LETHBRIDGE - Snow removal crews continue to work around the clock to clean up from the massive snow storm that hit the region early last week.

As long as there's no additional accumulation, the city is on track to remove all of the windrowed snow that's piled up on priority two and three routes by sometime this weekend.

The condition of residential streets has been a problem as the snow compacted in the cold weather, resulting in several bumpy and slippery roads around the community. You're advised to slow down and drive for the conditions.

If you do notice a problem spot on city roads, such as large snow drifts, contact the city on their website, through the Leth Requests App, or by calling the Public Operations service request line at 320-3850.
