Blood Donations In High Demand Over The Holidays

Lethbridge: The local Canadian Blood Services chapter is asking for residents to fill more than 50 appointments before the end of the year.

352 donations are needed from Lethbridge donors to fill the national quota of 19, 000. Appointments are especially low on Boxing Day and New Years Eve. Parts of blood only have a shelf life of 5 days, so donations are crutial before and after holidays.
