UPDATE: Warner Shooting Suspect Arrested In Calgary

LETHBRIDGE: Calgary Police have confirmed that 38-year old Kenneth Barry Wallage was arrested without incident in Calgary Saturday afternoon around 2 o'clock.

A Canada wide warrant was issued for his arrest on Friday, in connection with a December 28th shooting in Warner. Early that morning, multiple gunshots were fired into an occupied residence. Fortunately there were no injuries and RCMP stated at the time that it was not believed to have been a random incident.

An investigation assisted by the Lethbridge RCMP Forensic Identification Section and the Calgary RCMP General Investigation unit, stated that a shotgun was used to fire slugs into a trailer, aiming at a bed and narrowly missing two sleeping occupants. Wallage was also identified as a suspect and has been charged with two counts of attempted murder.

The matter remains under investigation.
