Charges Laid In Food Court Stabbing

 
 

LETHBRIDGE: Two women have been charged in connection with an altercation and stabbing in a mall food court last month.

 

December 28th the two women got into an argument while in the food court of Park Place Mall. It then turned physical and a 28-year old woman assaulted a 27-year old with a pair of scissors. The 27-year old retaliated by stabbing the 28-year old with a knife, resulting in serious but non-life threatening injuries.

 

27-year old Ashely Lynn Gros Ventre Boy has been charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and possession of an offensive weapon.

 

28-year old Stella Andrea McKenzie is charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, possession of an offensive weapon and breach of an undertaking.
