Variety Show and Auction Held To Benefit Lethbridge Chinatown

Lethbridge: Save Chinatown Lethbridge and the Lethbridhe Historical Society are hosting a fundraiser at the Yates, February 8th.

All of the proceeds raised from the evening, kicking off at 6 PM and running until 10 PM, will benefit the restoration of the Bow on Tong and Manie Opera Society buildings in Chinatown. The building were damaged this past summer in unseasonable storms and closed by the City, displacing Albert Leong-a permanent resident of Chinatown- and the Desert Wind Belly Dancers.

Local acts from around Southern Alberta will perform at the event as well as a 70 item Silent Auction. Tickets can be purchased at the Yates, by calling 403-329-SEAT and at the Enmax Centre Box Offices.
