Jennie Emery Elementary Receives Funding For New Classrooms

Lethbridge: Coaldale's Jennie Emery Elementary School received funding for two new classrooms on February 7th.

The announcement came on the same day as the school celebrated it's 20th birthday. The two classrooms are the result of a multi-year effort by Palliser Regional Schools Board to address a space crunch at the school which is home to about 470 students in Kindergarten to Grade 4.

Additional classroom spaces were created in 2012. This past summer the school received 300 thousand dollars for a new roof.
