Ed Sheeran almost lost a guitar from Eric Clapton in a fire!

Apparently, Ed Sheeran said during his spicy wing episode, that Eric Clapton gave him a signed guitar during a visit to the singer’s home. It was the only guitar that Ed kept in his home studio, which caught fire while he was on tour.

Ed said that the guitar was only minorly damaged although “it smelled like a burnt house.”  To this day though, it still works, plays amazing, looks amazing, and in his words actually kind of smells amazing and it still has Eric’s signature on it.

It’s still Ed’s favourite guitar!
