In February 2017, they decided to do something about it, and the result is Purple Carrot; a local business that primarily sources natural products from southern Alberta to support the community throughout the year.
Owners Cathy and Cris said, “We decided to open a store with all of our favorite gluten-free foods, dairy-free foods and supplements. We are very passionate about reducing plastic waste and so we decided to open Lethbridge’s first refillery.”
Cris and Cathy said, “We want to help our community be happier and healthier. We want to support other local businesses so that our whole community thrives. Our community supports us. We want to create a comfortable environment where the people of Lethbridge can come in and ask questions about food, health, and their body.”
